Our Recruiting Office is dedicated to working with you and your schedule in an attempt to find a test time that will accommodate your needs. We are currently conducting this recruitment in an effort to attract Lateral Officers or Academy Attendees/Graduates. Specific requirements are as follows.
Motorcycle Police and Police Cars

If you are currently employed as a peace officer in a California-authorized jurisdiction with one year of full-time experience, or have been so employed within the past two years; and possess or are eligible to possess a California POST Basic Certificate issued by the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST), you qualify as a Lateral candidate.

A California POST Requalification Course Certification or a Basic Course Waiver issued within the last two years are also qualifying.
