Sex Offender Information

Information on registered sex offenders is available on California's Megan's Law website.  The Santa Rosa Police Department does not recommend using smart phone apps to find addresses of registered sex offenders.  Some smart phone apps provide out-of-date information.

Some registered sex offenders live in Santa Rosa, but outside City limits, and are registered with the Sonoma County Sheriff's Department.

  • Megan's Law website maps of Santa Rosa may include both City and County registrants. Yellow areas on the maps are City jurisdiction.
  • Only those offenders whose street addresses are on the Megan's Law website will appear on the maps.
Anyone who uses information on the Megan's Law website to commit a crime or to harass an offender or his or her family is subject to criminal prosecution and civil liability.
