Boards, Commissions, and Committees

The City of Santa Rosa has a number of Boards and Commissions that support the City Council and City Departments. The members of these boards are volunteers, offering a variety of opportunities for citizens to assist with City government.

Each Councilmember appoints one member to each of the Boards and Commissions, with the member's term matching that of the Councilmember who made the appointment. Councilmembers strive to appoint residents from different areas of the city to allow diverse representation.

Applicants for City Boards, Commissions, and Committees must be registered voters of the City of Santa Rosa.
