Low Wage Employee Parking Permit
The Low Wage Employee Parking Permit offers a 50% discount on monthly permits in the 7th Street Garage (521 7th St.) and the 1st Street Garage (555 1st St.). Volunteers, interns, and employees who work in the Downtown Parking District or Railroad Square Meter Zone (see map below), work at least 20 hours a week, and make below 60% of the median income for Sonoma County (based on United States Department of Housing and Urban Development published income guidelines) are eligible for a $31/month parking pass. Effective 06/01/2022, the wage limit is $24.00 per hour (including tips and commissions).

Submit company verification letter for volunteers and interns; or provide a copy of your most recent pay stub for employee applications.
Submit payment of $31 per month for permit. Monthly fee is due in advance, by the 23rd of the month in which the permit expires. Automatic payment by credit card is available.
There is an initial, one time $10 access card set up charge.
The fee for a lost card is $15.
How to Enroll

How to Renew
Every six months, parkers need to submit verification of eligibility. If verification is not submitted, the parker's account will be blocked. For instance, a parker who starts in September would need to submit employment verification during the month of February to avoid having his/her card blocked in March. It is the parker's responsibility to make note of his/her renewal period.Additional Information
