Policía y La Comunidad

 Presenting Police and the Community

Please apply today for the upcoming Police and Community session, which will take place September 20th, 27th and October 4th, 11th and18th of 2023.

Police and La Comunidad is a free 5-week educational program spoken exclusively in Spanish so residents can meet and build relationships with Santa Rosa Police Department personnel. Each meeting will highlight a different facet of police work in the City of Santa Rosa in an effort to foster understanding and encourage dialogue with police officers. NEW! We now offer free on-site childcare during Police and Community meetings.

Police and The Community offers residents a rare behind-the-scenes look at the police department. Over the course of 5 weeks, you will learn about:

  • Defensive tactics.
  • SWAT Operations
  • Traffic Law Enforcement
  • Narcotics Investigations
  • K9 Operations
  • Dispatch and communications.
  • Crime scene investigations.
  • Use of force policies.

Apply here

  • Adults over 18 years old
  • Those who live or work in the city of Santa Rosa.
