In January 2019 City Council authorized staff to move forward with the City’s Phase one efforts (see timeline below) towards a potential public-private partnership (P3) to build a new City Hall. The new City Hall would replace aging, non-compliant, inadequate infrastructure and free up desirable, develop-able land in the Santa Rosa Downtown core for housing and mixed-use development.
In April 2019, the City released a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a Technical Advisor, with a deadline of May 21, 2019.
In August 2018, the City, in conjunction with the County of Sonoma, released a market sounding survey.
