Francis Nielsen Ranch Park
In Francis Nielsen Ranch Park the existing wood pedestrian bridge was damaged beyond repairable condition. The replacement bridge design is intended to prove more fire retardant than the previous design. The new design includes a combination of metal beam girders topped with reinforced concrete decking. Construction was completed in July 2019 and the pedestrian bridge is open to the public.
