Search for City-Owned or City-Leased Property
Visit the City Real Estate Asset Map to access the City’s interactive mapping tool, which presents data on property the City owns and leases. You may search for City-owned property by address or by the assessor’s parcel number (APN). You can also search for City-owned property for sale or lease by using the navigation links to the right.
Find Out Which Departments Manage a Specific Property
Visit the City Real Estate Asset Map, click on highlighted City-owned property and a pop-up box will display the City department which has jurisdiction over a specific piece of property.
Receive Permission to use City Property
The City of Santa Rosa owns property used for various municipal purposes such as fire stations, police stations, office buildings, parks, libraries, and streets. Requests to use City property should be directed to Real Estate Services with the exception of Recreation facilities and Parks, which should be directed to the Department themselves.
Buy City-Owned Property
The City of Santa Rosa City Council must declare property surplus per the City’s Surplus Policy and approve all property sales.
Visit the Property for Sale page for details and documents regarding current listings.
Property Available for Lease
The City may from time to time lease space in or on City-owned property that is not currently used by the City. Leases are granted per the City Council Leasing Policy. All requests should be directed to Real Estate Services. To view properties available for lease, visit the Properties for Lease Page.
Referral to a Real Estate Broker, Property Manager, Appraiser, Escrow Company or Title Company
The City of Santa Rosa Real Estate Services does not provide that type of information. You may want to consult an organization such as North Bay Association of Realtors or Sonoma County Association of Realtors.
