The project proposes: (1) a General Plan Amendment to Transit Village Medium; (2) a Rezoning to Transit Village-Residential + Senior Housing combining district; and (3) a 5-parcel Tentative Map-Major Subdivision to support redevelopment of a 13.3-acre site within the Mendocino Avenue Corridor Priority Development Area. The proposed redevelopment includes a ± 532-unit Multi-Family development comprised of 162 affordable (Very Low-Low Income) Senior Housing units and up to 370 market rate units set in a compact, sustainable, transit-oriented development. Minor Design Review of the proposed Master Plan and affordable Senior Housing component is required.
