This dedicated team responds to reports associated with debris left on public property, including along roadsides, trails and creeks as well as in parks and around public buildings. The Debris Response Team (DRT) removes debris proactively through a routine inspection program as well through service requests generated by community members.
DRT works closely with the City's Encampment Team and coordinates activities with several City departments, including Housing and Community Services, Police, Fire, and Water.
The DRT crew consists of four dedicated full-time staff members and a supervisor who have been reassigned from other duties within the Transportation and Public Works Department to focus solely on removal of debris from the public right of way.
How to Request Service
Community members may request DRT services by calling 707-543-3800 or by using the MySantaRosa online reporting tool.
