2023's Outstanding Volunteers Receive Merit Awards

City of Santa Rosa recognizes 13 individuals and groups for selfless giving

Thirteen extraordinary individuals and organizations have been selected for 2023 Merit Awards by the City of Santa Rosa. They are recognized for outstanding volunteerism in serving the community and improving the quality of life in Santa Rosa. This year’s awards are the 41st presentation.

Recipients of the City's Merit Awards are nominated by the community and selected by the Merit Awards Committee. The Mayor and City Council members join the Committee in presenting the awards at the ceremony.

The 2023 Merit Awards presentation was an in-person ceremony for the awardees, their invited guests, and all members of the community. Members of the community who wish to view the ceremony are invited to watch a replay on the City’s YouTube channel.
