The second public meeting, along with extensive survey responses provide a significant amount of input regarding the approach to re-envisioning and updating the park facilities. Planning staff continues to evaluate the input and has met with neighboring stakeholders including the Santa Rosa Middle School and members of the business community. Given the diversity of opinions regarding the approach for the park’s future the master planning process has been paused as additional evaluations are made before moving forward with the community process.
We anticipate having a revised timeline for the master planning project in July or August. Please stay tuned for the next opportunity to participate and consider alternatives at some point this fall.
