Fong Color

Grace Fong is a local artist who discovered painting later in life.  Inspired by her daughters’ artistic creativity and artwork, she found she too enjoyed painting.  Driven by the motto, “If you hear a voice within you say ‘you cannot paint,’ then by all means paint, and the voice will be silenced.” – Vincent Van Gogh.  Her “viewpoints” are influenced by other artists, travel, and adventures, all reflected in the diversity of subjects and styles permeating her work.  She prefers smaller dimensions, inviting the viewer to come closer to ponder and view her work.
