Following a successful food drive in April, the City of Santa Rosa is once again teaming up with the Redwood Empire Food Bank (REFB) to host another food donation drive—online and in-person—in response to growing hunger needs amid the COVID-19 emergency.
The City seeks to raise an additional $20,000 (adding to the approximately $80,000 raised in April) for the Redwood Empire Food Bank during a Virtual Food Drive taking place through July 22. Donations can be made online here now.
Additionally, on July 22 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., donations of non-perishable food items will be collected at the Neighbors Helping Neighbors Donation Station, which will be set up at the parking lot at A Place to Play (2375 West Third Street).
