PG&E has updated their Weather Awareness page to reflect an “ELEVATED” risk of a PSPS in portions of the North Bay, including Sonoma County, for Tuesday (9/8) and Wednesday (9/9).
This does NOT mean a PSPS is imminent. “Elevated” is the lowest level of potential for PSPS.
It is important to make sure you’ll receive notifications from PG&E if a PSPS occurs. Update your contact information with PG&E by calling 1-866-743-6589 or visit pge.com/mywildfirealerts.
The purpose of this post is to provide as much early information as possible and to raise awareness and remind our community of the tools and resources available to monitor and prepare for potential power outages. Learn more at PGE.com/weather or by visiting srcity.org/PowerOutage.
