Auction Announcement of City Agricultural Property for Lease

Parcel One

A portion of 5743 and 5750 Occidental Road (Stone Farm)
Approximately 45 acres (AC) for Lease

Minimum Bid: $85/AC/YR

NOTICE TO BIDDERS: 

INVITATION FOR BIDS packages containing the Auction Announcements of City Agricultural Property for Lease (including land use information and open for inspection schedules), Locator Map, Bid Form and Acceptance, Lease Form and Recycled Water User’s Guide may be obtained by emailing [email protected] and requesting a copy.  Auction information updates, amendments or auction cancellations, if any, will be posted on this webpage. Sealed Bidding:

Sealed bids will be received at the Water Department, 69 Stony Circle, Santa Rosa, California, beginning at 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday September 23, 2020, for the lease of a portion of the real property as described above and as more specifically noted in the bid package. Bids tendered after the bid receiving deadline will not be accepted. The official time clock for receiving bids will be an electric date and time stamping clock, located in the Water Department at 69 Stony Circle.  In order to be considered, bids must be received prior to 2:00 p.m.  Therefore, a bid stamped in at 1:59 p.m. is acceptable, but one stamped in at or after 2:00 p.m. is late and will not be accepted.  Bids must be delivered in person and the TIME TO DELIVER BIDS is within the one hour WINDOW FOR DELIVERY prior to deadline posted above. No bids will be accepted outside of this time window. Prospective bidders are invited to attend the Bid opening teleconference call scheduled to be held at 2:00 p.m., September 23, 2020 and details will be provided with the requested Invitation for Bids package as noted above.

Each bid shall be made out on a “Bid Form and Acceptance” form, which is included in the Invitation for Bids package.  The original of the Bid Form and Acceptance, bearing an original signature, shall be submitted and must be accompanied with a certified or cashier’s check, payable to the City of Santa Rosa, in the amount equal to 10% of the total annual bid price. The Bid Form and Acceptance shall be placed in an envelope and marked as specified on the “Bid Form and Acceptance” form.
