[ARCHIVED] Provide Input on Plan to Distribute Federal Housing, Homelessness, and Community Development Funds

Handing the Keys Over

The City of Santa Rosa would like your input on how it plans to distribute federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investments Partnership Program (HOME), and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) funds that it will receive for Fiscal Year 2021/2022. Each year the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) provides funding for housing and community development programs. To receive these funds, the City must complete a report called the Annual Action Plan.

The City’s FY 2021/2022 Annual Action Plan is available for review and public comment on the City’s website at the following link:  2021/2022 Draft Annual Action Plan

Due to COVID-19 public health precautions, hard copies will not be available at physical locations, but electronic review copies may be requested by emailing [email protected].

The public comment period runs from March 2, 2021 through April 2, 2021. Comments may be emailed to:

Angela Morgan, Program Specialist II
Department of Housing and Community Services

A tentative public hearing/meeting will be held at the City Council meeting on May 4, 2021 as part of the 2021/2022 Annual Action Plan process. A public hearing notice will be posted prior to the meeting.
