Volunteers Enhance Veteran’s Memorial Monument Site

NF_Veterans Memorial

In honor of Veteran’s Day, residents are encouraged to visit Santa Rosa’s Veteran’s Memorial monument located on the southwest corner of the City Hall campus to pay tribute to the brave men and women who have defended our country.

Recently, the memorial site was generously adopted by local resident Ross Liscum and a group of dedicated community members to enhance the area around the monument. This team of dedicated volunteers trimmed trees, installed new drip irrigation, and planted low water-use plants throughout the five bedding areas to bring a new and vibrant look to the memorial site. We are grateful for our caring and dedicated volunteers.
