Wind Advisory in Effect Friday (1/21) through Saturday (1/22)

Wind Advisory in Effect for North Bay, Including ALL of Santa Rosa from 7 AM Friday (1/21) to 7 AM Saturday (1/22).

* WHAT… North to Northeast winds 15 to 30 mph with gusts 40 to 55 mph expected. Gust of 60 to 70 mph are possible over the highest peaks of the North Bay Mountains.
* WHERE… Locally, Coastal North Bay, North Bay Interior Valleys, and North Bay Mountains.
* WHEN… From 7 AM Friday morning (1/21) to 7 AM Saturday (1/22). The strongest winds are expected Friday evening into early Saturday morning.
* IMPACTS… Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS:
Secure outdoor objects. Prepare for potential power outages. Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high-profile vehicle.
