On Feb. 15, 2022, the Ad Hoc Committee for the Bennett Valley Golf Course and Event Facility will recommend Council approve continuing golf course operations and reopening the restaurant/event facility through the solicitation of a single management agency to operate both the golf course and restaurant/event facility under a three-to-five-year contract.

A short-term management contract will allow for the development of a Master Plan by a golf course architect to identify necessary improvements and mission critical infrastructure repairs/replacement. The City will share the Master Plan with the community and seek input regarding project priorities, timeline, and implementation process. Should Council approve the Ad Hoc Committee’s recommendation, city staff will issue a Request for Proposals on or before March 1, 2022 with the goal of beginning new operations by July 1, 2022.
