Check out these NEW classes that didn't make it into the current guide and other classes we think you would enjoy!
Little Tennis! Intro to Junior Tennis (Age 5-8) - Class begins 10/7!
By using soft balls and smaller sized equipment, Little Tennis introduces the young player to a fun, energetic tennis environment while building hand-eye coordination and self-confidence. Whether this is your child's first exposure to a sport or not, they will be guided by a coach through the experience. Wear comfortable clothing and athletic shoes. All equipment is provided. Classes are held at Finley Community Park Pickleball Courts (2060 West College Avenue).
Fashion Design (Adult & Teen) - Classes begin as soon as 10/2 & 10/3!
Impress your family and friends with your new custom designs you've sewn for yourself. In these classes you will learn about fabric selection, pattern layout, cutting and sewing your garment. Bring your fabric and sewing supplies. You may bring your own sewing machine or are welcome to use the class machines and tools. Free fabric scraps and trim will be provided in class, no experience necessary. Classes are held at Steele Lane Community Center (415 Steele Lane).
Retirement: Thinking About it or Done the Deed (Age 50+) - Class begins 10/5!
Retirement is definitely a new phase in our lives. It in involves redefining ourselves, getting started on a new path for purpose and learning ways to cope and find happiness in our lives. This class will discuss the following topics: developing new identity, understanding stages on change and learning to manage stress, redefining your purpose, learning about passions and utilizing strategies for this new phase of your life. Classes are held at Person Senior Wing (2060 West College Avenue).
Full Body Fit! (Age 18+) - Classes begin as soon as 10/3!
Combine cardio, strength, weights, abs and TRX exercise in this fat burning, full-body high intensity interval training! Learn proper form with a workout modified to your body and needs. All levels welcome. Classes are held at Sweatmood Fitness (2101 West College Avenue, #103C),
Kingdergym (Age 1-3) - Classes begin as soon as 10/4!
Help your child build a strong body and fun memories! Assist your child towards social and physical success by helping them crawl, climb, jump, play, increase body awareness, learn to wait and share and participate in open play along with special parachute and song time. Classes held at Finely Community Center (2060 West College Avenue).
