Caltrans and Federal Highway Administration have approved $4.75 million in roadway recovery funding to help restore portions of the City’s pavement network that were damaged following the 2017 Wildfire.
This funding approval allows the city to move the design phase forward to repair the following damaged roadways:
- Fountaingrove Parkway between Mendocino Avenue and Hadley Hill Drive South. Pavement recovery treatment will involve a combination of milling the top layer of pavement then applying a new layer of asphalt, and digout repairs with slurry seal including crack sealing.
- Bicentennial Way between Mendocino Avenue and Lake Park Drive. Pavement recovery treatment will involve digout repairs and slurry seal including crack sealing.
- Hopper Avenue between Crestview Drive and Airway Drive. Pavement recovery treatment will involve digout repairs and slurry seal including crack sealing.
The roadway recovery projects are expected to break ground in summer 2023.
