Caltrans will close westbound Todd Road at the Highway 101 overcrossing in Santa Rosa to allows workers to replace bridge railings that line both sides of the overpass.
The closure will begin in the early morning hours of Monday, August 8, and stay in place until work is complete, sometime in late September 2022.
Westbound traffic will be detoured around the closure. (See detour instructions and map below) Eastbound Todd Road will not be closed.
The current lattice-style railings will be replaced with solid sturdier railings, which will be safer in the event of an accident and will be easier for Caltrans crews to repair .
Crews will first replace the rails on the north side of the overcrossing. Once completed, Caltrans will shift eastbound traffic and pedestrians to facilitate the replacement of the railing on the south side.
