The Spray Ground, located at Prince Gateway Park at 171 Santa Rosa Avenue, is open 2-6pm on weekdays and 11am-6pm on weekends through October 31, 2017.
I sat at the fish for the better part of an hour this afternoon.
Mostly just smiling.
Mothers with their little kids.
Sopping wet kids playing games with the spouting water—the actions of which they could neither predict nor command.
Hopping from spout to spout.
Wailing on that push button like it was a disobedient crosswalk button.
The water rarely stopped.
Three cops who were on the walkway across the bridge.
Some laughter and definitely some smiles from the cops at the kids and their moms.
Kids and moms on the grass. More laughter.
There was no fire.
There was no damage.
It was just a glorious autumn afternoon at the Fish.
Best thing I've been witness to in a couple of weeks.
