Courthouse Square Lighted Green in Support of Veterans

News Flash_Operation Green Light in Courthouse Square

In advance of the upcoming Veterans Day holiday, in honor of our military veterans, Santa Rosa will participate in Operation Green Light for Veterans, by lighting Courthouse Square green from Nov. 7-13.

Operation Green Light is a new national initiative designed to shine a light on the service of military veterans and their families and raise awareness about their unique challenges. While studies show most Americans support America's veterans, too often, that support is not seen or felt by service men and women. Operation Green Light aims to change that.

The City is lighting Courthouse Square green to support the effort and to let veterans know they are seen, appreciated, and supported.

Residents are also encouraged to participate by shining a green light inside or outside their home to show their support for our veterans.
