Renewed Banner Installation Celebrating Santa Rosa’s Historic Neighborhoods

Historic Neighborhood Banners

Bright new banners inviting everyone to celebrate the historic neighborhoods of Santa Rosa are being installed on street light poles in eleven neighborhoods.  In total the city will install 48 historic neighborhood light pole banners in eleven neighborhoods. The first installation of the new banners can be seen along Sonoma Avenue near Luther Burbank Gardens.

The original banner artwork designs were developed by a local artist and installed decades ago featuring a main characteristic from historic neighborhoods within the city. These same original designs have been reprinted and are being installed by the City’s Transportation and Public Works streets maintenance team.

These Historic Neighborhoods include:

Burbank Gardens

Cherry Street

Earle Street

Juilliard Park

Olive Park

Ridgeway

Roseland

Santa Rosa Junior College

South Park

St. Rose
