*REGISTRATION DEADLINE EXTENDED*
Registration has been extended through Monday, 12/4.
Recreation and Parks is offering a limited number of youth basketball league full scholarships for K-3rd graders whose homes were destroyed in the fires.
About the Scholarship Program
The scholarship program gives families the opportunity to participate in Recreation & Parks programs. Funds are raised through the Department’s annual fundraising events, including the Scholarship Golf Tournament & the St. Patrick’s Day 5K, and from individual contributions received from donors throughout the year.
How the Program Works
Registration fee is $85 per child and the total registration fee is covered by the scholarship program. Our staff will register your child for the Youth Basketball League when you are at Steele Lane Community Center.
Please note: Scholarship funds may only be used for the Youth Basketball League offered through the Recreation and Parks. They are not redeemable for cash. We process scholarships once annually per family, so all registrations must be completed at the time the scholarship is approved.
Eligibility Requirements
Family must live within Santa Rosa City limits and/or Santa Rosa City Schools District, and must show proof that they lost their house (provide claim number).
