Snow, freezing temperatures, winds, thunderstorms, and rain are all forecasted for Santa Rosa over the next several days starting today, Wed., 2/22, through Sat., 2/25.
Two rounds of snow are possible, with the best chances for round one to start at 1 p.m. today into tomorrow morning. A second round of snow is possible for Thursday afternoon into Friday.
A Freeze Warning is in effect tonight. Similar conditions will occur for the next few nights through Saturday
morning. A temporary Warming Center will be open tonight, Wed., 2/22, through Sat., 2/25. Operating hours are 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., except on Saturday morning when it will remain open until 9 a.m.
Thunderstorms are also possible, with lightning, small hail, and heavy rain today through Friday afternoon. Per the National Weather Service Bay Area rain totals could reach up to 0.75” for the valley floors of Santa Rosa and up to 1.25” for the higher elevations around Santa Rosa.
The Wind Advisory will expire at 1 p.m. today, but a second round of strong gusty winds is expected Thursday.
