This month, the City of Santa Rosa’s new community volunteer clean-up and beautification program Clean Santa Rosa is partnering with Caltrans for Clean California Community Days, an eleven-day state-wide beautification event that kicks off Friday, March 17. The goal of Clean California Days is to work together to clean-up our community and spread the word about taking pride in keeping our community and California clean.
Clean Santa Rosa is a new monthly community clean-up and beautification program, where community volunteers and city staff work together to clean-up public spaces in Santa Rosa. The program launched on Feb. 17 where community volunteers and city staff helped to remove four (4) cubic yards of trash and debris along sections of Cleveland Avenue and Industrial Drive.
For Clean California Community Days, the City of Santa Rosa invites community volunteers and city staff to help clean and beautify our community. Projects will include but are not limited to the following:
- Friday, March 24, 10am to 1 pm - Morgan and Davis streets between 3rd and 9th
- Saturday, March 25, 9am to 12pm - Martin Luther King Junior Park
Volunteer registration will open soon. Check back or watch for notifications to volunteer for these and other community clean-up and beautification projects.
The City’s volunteer clean-up and beautification program, Clean Santa Rosa, is a fun way for families, friends, and coworkers to join with City staff to take care of our wonderful city, show community support, and keep Santa Rosa a clean and beautiful place to live, work, and play.
