Santa Rosa, Calif. – The City of Santa Rosa hosts Cinco de Mayo 2023 in Roseland this Friday, on Sebastopol Road between West and Avalon Avenues, to honor the cultural significance of the holiday for those of Mexican descent and all others who celebrate it.
Join businesses, restaurants, and City staff in the heart of Roseland as the celebration begins at 4 p.m. and runs through 9 p.m. that night. Expect over 20 booths and vendors, food and family fun, including:
- Live performances by Tamborazo Santo Domingo, Erupcion Oaxaquena Group, Vientos de Antequera, and Maxima Frecuencia;
- A small parade led by Roseland Vaqueros y Charros on horseback, accompanied by Tamborazo Santo Domingo and the City's lowrider, the Marylou;
- Santa Rosa Fire Department’s Fire Engine for kids to see up close; and
- Games for kids all ages, including giant Jenga and connect-four game sets and whiffle-ball batting nets.
