Summer season is officially here! In-Service Training got underway on Monday, June 5, 2023 for hundreds of newly hired seasonal staff members, and this will be an intensive week of learning. Soon, they will be camp counselors, lifeguards, ride operators, and more! This is a first job for many, and lessons include safety, customer service, and how to behave as a City of Santa Rosa employee. And there’s nothing like a little pep talk from our Deputy Director of Recreation, Jeff Tibbetts, to get the staff motivated! Congratulations to our 2023 summer staff, and here’s to a great summer!
