**Night Work on this project has been temporarily delayed**
The Los Alamos Trunk Sewer Replacement project plans to resume night work October 1, 2023 and continue through October. Most of the night work is expected to be completed in 20 days, with the remaining work on Quigg shifting to day work. Night work will occur from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. with day work happening between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
The first phase of night work is planned to take place from Mission Circle to Mission Blvd and will last for approximately 10 days. Once complete, the crew will move to the intersection at Mission Blvd and Quigg Drive for the second phase, which is expected to take 2 days. The final set of night work for this phase of construction will take place on Quigg Drive for 8 days and will involve a mixture of night and day construction. The schedule for this phase is not yet set, however, affected residents and businesses will be notified 72 hours in advance of construction.
During construction, noise will result from excavators digging, trucks transporting materials, pipe installation, backfilling, and other construction noises. Our goal is to complete this critical infrastructure project with as minimal disruptions to residents as possible.
