As part of the Highway 12 pavement and concrete slab replacement project in Santa Rosa to rehabilitate a three mile stretch of Highway 12, Caltrans has scheduled overnight full highway closures and daytime lane closures this weekend, October 27-30.
Zone 3 – Highway 12 from Santa Rosa Avenue to Farmers Lane
The east end of the project limits between Santa Rosa Avenue and Farmers Lane, eastbound and westbound traffic will be impacted by the road closures effective 8 p.m. Friday, October 27 through 5 a.m. October 30.
Between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., one lane of traffic will be open in both the eastbound and westbound directions, with a full closure from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. Be aware of detour signs when traveling in the area during the night shift. Remember to drive cautiously due to the higher volume of vehicles on City streets as a result of the construction detours.
Expect reduced traffic flow, watch for detour signs, and avoid traveling through the impacted areas when possible.
The slab replacement is part of a larger project to rehabilitate a three-mile stretch of Highway 12 between Llano Road and Farmers Lane in Santa Rosa, which began in June 2023.
Thank you for your patience as Caltrans works to maintain Highway 12.
