Red Flag Warning in Effect for ALL of Sonoma County from Saturday, Oct. 28 at 5 P.M. through Sunday, Oct. 29th at 5 P.M. A Red Flag Warning goes into effect for the Upper Elevations of Eastern Sonoma County starting Saturday, Oct. 28 at 5 A.M. and continues through Sunday, Oct. 29th at 5 P.M.
Lower Elevations - North 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.
Upper Elevation - North 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph. Highest ridgetops and peaks may see gusts up to 60 mph.
Minimum relative humidity as low as 15 to 35 percent on Saturday and Sunday. Poor relative humidity recoveries overnight in the 20 to 45 percent range for the interior valleys. Moderate humidity recoveries of 55 to 75 percent for the coastal regions.
IMPACTS: The combination of gusty winds and low humidity can cause fire to rapidly grow in size and intensity.
