[ARCHIVED] CIP Project Awarded

Courthouse Square NBBJ Award

The City of Santa Rosa is proud to have Old Courthouse Square recognized by the North Bay Business Journal as The Top North Bay Public Project for 2017!

The Reunification of Old Courthouse Square opened to the public on April 29, 2017 with a city-wide dedication and celebration! Since the re-opening many events have taken place on the Square; Wednesday Night Downtown Market, Luther Burbank Rose Parade, IRONMAN, and Winter Lights just to name a few.

The reunification of the Square has created an engaging outdoor plaza for events, residents, visitors and businesses in the heart of Santa Rosa.

Steve Dittmer, Supervising Engineer on the reunification of Old Courthouse Square project, accepted the award on behalf of the City of Santa Rosa. The awards ceremony was held on Tuesday, December 12, at the Sheraton in Petaluma.
