Earlier this month contractors completed the replacement of water service lines to all 352 properties in the water quality advisory area. Upon completion City water crews began flushing and sampling every new water service line to confirm the contamination was removed. To date all sample results are showing that the new water services meet all state and federal safe drinking water standards. To view the latest sampling data click here.
In addition to sampling water service lines, the water quality team is testing water quality from over 75 sample locations inside the water quality advisory area. Over the last two months, weekly sampling data shows that water throughout the mains in the advisory area is meeting safe drinking water standards.
Based on the data, we are working in consultation with the California Division of Drinking Water and the U.S. EPA on a pathway towards lifting the water quality advisory.
To share the most recent sampling data and our plan for lifting the water quality advisory in Fountaingrove, please join us for a community meeting on Wednesday, September 19, 2018.
