Public application for membership on the Sonoma County Homeless System of Care’s Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) is now open. The TAC is a critical part of the Homeless System of Care, the new unified address for homeless services planning and funding throughout Sonoma County. The Homeless System of Care, via its nine-member Leadership Council and 25-member TAC, will serve as the HUD-mandated Continuum of Care program for the County of Sonoma, City of Petaluma, and City of Santa Rosa (CA-504: Santa Rosa/Petaluma/Sonoma County CoC).

The TAC will be comprised of community experts who can make the Sonoma County Homeless System of Care’s vision a reality and will play a critical part in advising the Leadership Council. The TAC’s 25 voting members will each serve on at least one of six standing and ad hoc Task Groups.

TAC voting members should be high-level decision makers from the relevant organizations outlined in the Background Brief and Application (link below). Additionally, upon formation, the TAC will select four members to serve on the nine-member Leadership Council.

Full details are in the application below. The deadline for applications is October 19, 2018 at 5pm.  All applications, accompanied by a Letter of Interest, may be submitted via email to Michael Gause, Continuum of Care Coordinator at [email protected] or in person at 1440 Guerneville Road, Santa Rosa 95403.
