After months of public outreach, a comprehensive Public Draft of the Santa Rosa Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan Update 2018 is available for final public review. The Final Draft Plan Update was presented on November 8, 2018, at the third in a series of three Public Open House events. The Plan Update includes draft project, program, and policy recommendations, along with a strategic implementation plan for bikeway and walkway improvements citywide.
Residents are encouraged to review the Draft Plan Update, then submit final improvement recommendations using the feedback button in the link below.
Public feedback may be submitted on or before December 20, 2018.
The Plan Update 2018 is a critical tool in building a citywide transportation system that is bicycle and pedestrian friendly. The Plan is updated every eight years. The goal of the Plan Update is to encourage more residents to bike and walk.

What's Next?
Draft Plan Update recommendations provided by members of the Public, BPAB and Planning Commission will be reviewed in the development of the Final Draft Plan Update. During the Planning Commission Public Hearing in February, the Commission will provide input on the Final Draft Plan Update for recommendation to City Council. The Final Draft Plan Update is anticipated to be presented to City Council for approval in March 2019.
