The Santa Rosa Housing Authority has been awarded a $1.2 million CalHome Disaster Assistance grant by the State Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD). Upon finalization of the contract and approval of the program documents by HCD, the funds will be used to provide loans for gap funding for the reconstruction or rehabilitation of Coffey Park homes destroyed in the October 2017 wildfires. Eligible households must earn no more than 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI) and must have owned the destroyed home at the time of the fire. Loan applications will be available in early 2019 on the City’s website and will be taken by mail only on a first-come, first-served basis.
