As Santa Rosa seeks to address the local crisis of affordable housing and homelessness, creative solutions for expanding the stock of affordable housing and permanent supportive housing are being explored. Leading this effort, the City of Santa Rosa has released a solicitation to develop the City-owned parcels at the corner of Bennett Valley Road and Rutledge Avenue, the former Bennett Valley Senior Center and ArtStart campuses.

This solicitation seeks qualified developers to create affordable housing and/or permanent supportive housing to help address our community’s need for affordable housing production, and supportive housing for people who were previously homeless.
