The bus is a great way to get to the Fair! Hop on CityBus route 18 bus at the Downtown Transit Mall and it will drop you off just steps away from the Fair’s ticket window. CityBus is easy to ride and you can conveniently avoid traffic hassles and parking fees by leaving the driving to us.

Route 18 buses depart from the Downtown Transit Mall hourly beginning at 7:20 AM on weekdays and 10:20 AM on weekends. It takes approximately 10 minutes for the bus to travel to the Fairgrounds. Passengers are dropped off at the bus stop directly in front of the Fair’s ticket window on Bennett Valley Road.

Extended hours

During the Sonoma County Fair, from August 1 -11, route 18 will have extended service hours on weekday only. There will be two additional trips departing the Transit Mall at 5:20 PM and 6:20 PM. View the extended hours schedule for route 18

Return trip home

After a fun day at the Fair, catch route 18 back to the Transit Mall where you can connect with other bus routes home. Route 18 buses heading to the Transit Mall depart from the corner of Maple Avenue and Brookwood Avenue.
