A public hearing will be conducted by the City Council on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at or after 5:00 p.m. in the City Council Chamber, City Hall, 100 Santa Rosa Avenue, Santa Rosa.
The purpose of the public hearing will be to receive public comment and recommendations prior to the City Council acting on a request to adopt a Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) and Master Plan for Roseland Creek Community Park. Located between Burbank and McMinn Avenues in southwest Santa Rosa, the 19.49 acre park would include a nature center, an outdoor classroom/community garden, picnic areas, a shade structure, a multi-use turf area, a nature-themed play area, sports court, parking areas, and a network of universally accessible trails including two footbridges across Roseland Creek.
The proposed MND and Master Plan are available for review online at SRCity.org/Park-Projects or at Santa Rosa Recreation & Parks, 55 Stony Point Road, Mon-Thu from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
If you cannot attend, you are encouraged to submit written comments and recommendations prior to the public hearing. Comments and questions may be directed to Kristi Buffo, Marketing and Outreach Coordinator at 707-543-3276 or [email protected]
