Estimated Construction Schedule: Slated to begin April, 2017 and is anticipated to be completed July, 2017. Project ID #: 1627 | |
Description: This project has two locations, one is on 3rd St between Morgan and B St, involving pedestrian improvements including lighting, street trees, bike lanes and delineation to channelize pedestrians to the north side of 3rd St at Morgan St and at B St. The second location is at Santa Rosa Avenue and Mill Street where a new traffic signal will be installed along with pedestrian ramps, and storm drain improvements.

Current Activity {April 24, 2017}: The goal is to complete the project with minimum impact to public inconvenience on these busy streets. To do so, the first order of work requires material acquisition prior to the actual construction. Material such as traffic signal poles and arms will take approx. 14-16 weeks to manufacture. In this case, the delivery of the traffic poles will likely to take place around mid May. The total duration of this project will take approx. 10 weeks to complete. The anticipated start date is slated to begin in the Spring of 2017 at 3rd Street location.
Current Schedule: From 4/24 to 5/10, work starts on 3rd St improvements. For safety reasons during the bollards installation, westbound sidewalk from Morgan St to B St will be closed. The schedule shown here is approximate and is subject to change based on any unforeseen conditions and/or special events that will likely affect the construction activities. From 5/10 to 6/25, work starts at Santa Rosa Ave and Mill St intersection. The order of work will be signal foundations, curb ramp installation, storm drain modification, traffic signal installation, and placement of new striping.
