Starting Monday, May 18, California Human Development (CHD) will begin connecting undocumented individuals in Sonoma County to disaster relief assistance. Qualifying undocumented adult individuals will be eligible to receive $500 in direct assistance, with a maximum of $1000 in assistance per household. It is anticipated that the funding will reach approximately 3,500 eligible individuals in Sonoma County.
This one-time funding is available through State’s Disaster Relief Funds available in response to the COVID-19 public health emergency and the CDH is the nonprofit organization that was selected by the California Department of Social Services to assist with Northern California counties. LEARN MORE
