The Santa Rosa Police Department is temporarily suspending the use of Nixle due to systemwide failures with the third party application. It has come to our attention that the app, Nixle, is misdelivering or not delivering important and timely information. This includes both emails and text messages. [June 2, 2020: 21:14] Dispersal orders have been issued to the unlawful protesters at Pacific Ave. and Wright St. If you are in that area, you are legally required to comply or face arrest and/or additional deterrence measures. Allied agencies are assisting SRPD with the dispersal.
[June 2, 2020: 19:34] The organized march has split into groups. One group is in the area of 3rd Street and Highway 101. Another group remains in the area of Stony Point Road and Dutton Avenue. Please avoid traveling through these areas. Reminder, the mandatory citywide curfew begins at 8:00 p.m.
