The Santa Rosa Police Department is temporarily suspending the use of Nixle due to systemwide failures with the third party application. It has come to our attention that the app, Nixle, is misdelivering or not delivering important and timely information. This includes both emails and text messages. Follow here for updates from SRPD:
[June 3, 2020: 2040] ARREST UPDATE Wednesday
[June 2, 2020: 23:18] SRPD and assisting local law enforcement agencies have made multiple arrests at the intersection of Pacific and Mendocino Avenues. Law enforcement will continue to patrol the area and enforce the curfew. More information to follow in a press release.
[June 2, 2020: 21:57] More dispersal orders have been issued to the unlawful assembly. We continue to issue these orders because of the sideshows, vandalism, vehicle pursuits, fireworks, looting & violence toward officers. Numerous arrests have been made. GO HOME!
[June 2, 2020: 19:34] The organized march has split into groups. One group is in the area of 3rd Street and Highway 101. Another group remains in the area of Stony Point Road and Dutton Avenue. Please avoid traveling through these areas. Reminder, the mandatory citywide curfew begins at 8:00 p.m.
