How does the City choose which projects to fund?
Each year, the Santa Rosa City Council, with recommendations from the Board of Public Utilities and the Subregional Technical Advisory Committee, adopts the Santa Rosa Water’s Capital Improvement Program Budget as developed by the Asset Management and Finance Departments. The specific projects in the budget are identified, prioritized and ranked using master plans, technical reports, maintenance records, condition assessments, economic and environmental factors, and public input.
