What are the requirements of the Safe Parking Program?

The Program Operator, Catholic Charities completes a vehicle inspection checklist to ensure that vehicles are safe, operable, and meet the capacity restrictions identified for the site. Participants must sign a Participant Agreement agreeing to Catholic Charities’ “good neighbor” policy. Participants are also required to engage in regular case management to make progress towards obtaining interim or permanent housing. Lengths of stay are limited to 6 months and may be extended on a case-by-case basis.
