I am Felecia D. Ford, a long-time resident of Sonoma County by way of Washington, D.C. I am a graduate of Sonoma State University with a degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice Administration. I have worked for the California Superior Court, County of Sonoma, for over 16 years and am currently the Executive Assistant to Court Executive Officer, Ms. Arlene D. Junior. I also embrace my role as a Sonoma County Law Enforcement Chaplain, Member of the Santa Rosa/Sonoma County NAACP, the Santa Rosa Community Empowerment Project – Multicultural Roots Program, and also as a licensed Evangelist Missionary of Greater Powerhouse Church of God In Christ of the California Northwest Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction.

As deer love water, I love serving people and advocating for those whose voices go unheard within society. In a time of global unrest and uncertainty, many wonder how to heal the nation, or if it ever can be. There is great fear of getting involved because the work is challenging and, the certainty of victory seems bleak. However, a great prophet in prayer once heard the Holy Spirit ask, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” I echo his response in saying, “Here am I; send me.” I applaud Chief Rainer Navarro for his vision to unite the County by way of community involvement and, I look forward to serving Sonoma County to the benefit of all.
